2024 Victorian Landcare Grants
Through the 2024 Victorian Landcare Grants, $3.55 million is available for Landcare and other environmental volunteer groups and networks that are working to protect and restore land and the environment.
Funding: A total of $3.55 million is available for project and support grants across Victoria.
Support Grants: Support Grants of up to $500 are available to help with group and network administration and running costs.
Project Grants: Project Grants of up to $20,000 are available for on-ground works and community education projects that protect or improve the natural environment, including native vegetation and wildlife, waterways and soils.
Eligibility: The grants are open to environmental volunteer groups, including Landcare groups and networks, Friends groups, Conservation Management Networks, Committees of Management, Coastcare groups and Aboriginal groups to support their important work in helping protect the health of our land, waterways and biodiversity.

2024 BirdLife Australia Community Grants
There is up to $20,000 in funding available for projects that align with BirdLife Australia’s Bird Conservation Strategy. This funding covers items such as equipment, signage, vegetation restoration, as well as support for volunteers, community education, training, and advocacy.
In 2024, the Community Grants Program is divided into two streams: Community Participation and Volunteering and Conservation and Applied Research.
Stream 1 provides funding for projects which encourage community engagement and volunteering in the conservation, protection and advocacy for Australian birds and their habitats. Stream 2 provides funding for conservation projects which conserve birds at a local or landscape scale; or contribute applied research into bird conservation, and projects which assist in meeting conservation strategy goals. Your project may have overlap between these two streams.
Applications close on 1st May 2024.

Rebates to improve digital connectivity for farmers
The On Farm Connectivity Program provides eligible Equipment Suppliers with up to $30,000 rebate for sales of digital farming technology to eligible Primary Producers to help improve their connectivity and productivity.
A rebate of up to $30,000 to cover up to 50% of the cost of eligible digital farming technology.

On Farm Connectivity Program
The Australian Government’s On Farm Connectivity Program is providing $30 million over 2 years to enable primary producers in agriculture, forestry and/or fisheries to take advantage of connected machinery and sensor technology.
The objectives of the program are to:
> extend digital connectivity and enable Primary Producers to take advantage of advanced farming technology
> enhance a Primary Producer’s ability to implement digital agribusiness solutions through improved connectivity
> capitalise on the agricultural sector’s productivity and growth
> support access to new communications equipment and services by offsetting some of the cost.

Campaspe Shire Council Grants
Many of the wonderful community projects, activities and events that take place in Campaspe rely, at least in part, on funding from Council. As well as providing funding directly, Council can also assist community members source other funding opportunities and help them apply for funding.

Hamer Family Sprout Fund
Each year, the Hamer Sprout Fund will consider applications from organisations that share the fund’s goals. We are particularly interested in giving to smaller organisations and projects to get them off the ground. Please contact us with your ideas and projects – we would love to discuss them with you.
The mission of the Hamer Family Sprout Fund is “to build communities inspired to take action for a sustainable future”.
Our aim is to support projects and organisations that:
> Promote innovation in environmental education
> Facilitate engagement in environmental action
> Advocate for environmental sustainability
> Foster collaboration between young people engaged in environmental leadership
A total of $25,000 is available for the Sprout Grants each year. Up to $5,000 is available per project, however more (up to $10,000) may be awarded in exceptional circumstances. Groups or individuals may submit more than one application if they have a number of eligible projects. However, preference may be given to applicants that have not already been allocated a grant within the current funding round.
The closing date for Hamer Sprout Fund Grant applications is 30 September each year.
